Good to keep things lighthearted, sorry if my tone was otherwise originally.

Two minor things. You mention the fare you're working with being cheaper on CO by a few bucks than the AA fare I brought up-- but, of course, the difference is in the details as they say! AA lowest fare is upgradeable, CO isn't. B I G difference, IMHO. But since you had a credit to use up, well, I certainly understand why you are willing to sit in CO's coach cabin o/w rather that AA's J-class or MRTC-- for the same price.

And, yes, you are 100% correct, I most certainly was a CO praise-singer right up until July 11, 2001-- a day that will live in OnePass infamy The day I became aware of what we all collectively refer to as "the HoKey enhancement." I never claimed to be the first person to make the switch to AA-- I didn't discover anything, just did what common sense told me I should do, very much based on what others here had done before me.
