How EUA SHOULD work....

Have to go to Chicago for the day next week, leaving in the morning, out at night.

EWR-MDW (735s both ways) and thanks to American Trans Air (ATA) my fare was only $175 R/T! (Also, I only booked it last Friday)

I am plat and I was EUA'd on BOTH flights! What makes this interesting is that on the 735 there are only 10 seats. Well on the outbound FC is FULL!!! Which means no one from Rev Mgt. held back any seats for last minute Y or A people.

So either they were asleep at the switch or maybe they are now letting the F seats happen normally because today is the last day of all 2001 Elite members. So the Elite pool is now smaller because anyone who did not make Elite is now no longer getting benefits.

Just a theory...

Anyone else with a theory?
