Thanks for sharing this tale. Call it good karma, good going round, or just common sense. I worked in the hotel industry for eight years in management; those who approached with a problem who were calm and nice always got more assistance from me than those who screamed, pitched fits, made demands.

I'm glad you acted the way you did and were rewarded for it by employees who know what customer service is.
