I am far from bashful (being called a wall flower is NEVER going to be my problem) but some of the forums on FT are not very inviting to new people. I wouldn't say intimidating is the word. But maybe threatening. Particularly on chewing on new people when they ask a question that should have been searched for. Yeah it is annoying re-answering but I dont think any of them do it to be annoying, think they just dont how how to do it or that they can (I certainly didnt, but learned FAST after someone got chomped on). For me it was just a matter of why bother putting myself out there and chance getting ripped apart, I dodnt need the stress. However like I said Delta is definitely where I feel most comfortable (and success here has led to me posting regularly in some others too).
