Exactly! So is the Miles Finder for real?

More dramatic example:
HEL-AMS-NRT: 5229 level miles
AMS-NRT: 6007 level miles

So a FB FF in HEL gets rewarded -778 miles for selecting KL to get to NRT via AMS? Generous by nature.

As the crow flies:
HEL-NRT: 4877 miles
AMS-NRT: 5805 miles

So there seems to be some relation to average actual flight path?
