Guildford is located in Surrey, one of the suburbs of Vancouver. While there have been a great many jokes about Surrey, the Guildford area is a commercial area of the suburb. However, it is FAR away from the business and shopping center of Vancouver. Unless you have a reason to be in Surrey, I suggest you not stay there.
