Sorry to say it, but I'm afraid your chances are nearly 0. As a plat, I haven't received an upgrade 2 out of 4 times this year DTW <-> SFO. On one of those, I was told there were 11 plats ahead of me on the waiting list! For the two I did get the UGs on, some golds didn't get upgraded.
At least you have a decent coach seat selected. Don't forget to bring some snacks or a meal.
