For my trip this summer, I have a SK award ticket (ORD-ARN-ORD) and purchased a UA ticket (DEN-ORD-DEN). These transactions were done separately. Is there any way to link these two itineraries together before I arrive at the airport? I'm afraid (from past experiences) that SK in ARN will refuse to interline my bags to DEN because my UA portion is on a separate record locator.
