For my family of four the difference in fare - best case scenario - is $1300. That isn't trivial and certainly is worth a bit of
my time. It's the difference between getting to go to Madrid or going somewhere local and cheaper for our family vacation.
Like all of mistake airfare deals that pop up in MR, if it doesn't happen and I'm not out any $$$, then sure - no biggie - there's always the next thing. On the other hand, the airlines and sites like travelocity coming through and honoring these fares doesn't just happen by accident either. If there was no consumer/FT outcry than my guess is that an awful lot of the mistake fares on the MR forum would never see fruition. Ambivalence isn't the path to success.
