Didn't get to use my Premium Pounds this weekend at Houston Airport Marriott at George Bush Intercontinental. The front desk manager claimed they didn't have an exchange rate, he could only accept my 100 PP as a payment of 100 US$. That's tantamount to a fraud, but he sounded like he was doing me a favor.

I even had the exchange rate printout from the marriott (thanks for the tip from Sam - DFW), but he insisted that the hotel didn't have a local rate. My wife was waiting in the car outside, so I didn't argue with him for long. Obviously, I didn't take his lowball "offer". This marriott is the largest in Houston. It is my first time using PP; needless to say, my experience has been terrible.
