a few years ago, i flew lanchile from santiago to easter island and had no problems. they were overbooked on the outbound and asking for volunteers, and on the return we actually left the gate a few minutes early. i sat in coach, and it was fine.

has anyone tried to use lan chile miles to get an award on Lan chile? is there an expiration on using the miles? and how long does it take to get an award ticket issued?
