Not if "Mexican" means Tex-Mex to you, no. But if you want some solid actual Mexican food, like he said, both the cheap (the abundance of taquieras in some of the Mexican 'hoods) and the expensive (Frontera, Ixcapulzalco, I haven't had the opportunity to try Topolobampo yet, but it gets rave reviews) are very good in Chicago.
