The three largest US airlines have warned corporate clients they could lose volume discounts if they give data on employee travel to Continental Airlines Inc. (NYSE:CAL - news), the Wall Street Journal reported in Wednesday's online edition.
Large companies often negotiate discounts based on the business they do with airlines.
This year, CO began requiring its corporate customers who receive such discounts to electronically disclose to it how much they are spending, ticket by ticket, with rival carriers, the paper said.
