Don't forget, the Delta Shuttle started out with New York Air, owned by Texas Air which then owned CO and Texas International. They had to sell it to Pan Am because of antitrust considerations when CO bought People Express.
Oh yess. I did forget that little bit of history. Anti-Trust is ever changing though, who knows how it might hold up in today's courts...
