Back off the TSA

I am amazed sometimes to hear the anti-TSA rantings of some flyers?

First off don;t blame the front line agents for stupid policies. They are told to enforce certain rules and do it whether the rules make sense or not. Your Joe Blow police officer enforces the laws written by politicans, he doesn't pick and choose what to enforce (or at least shouldn't).

2. In any organization there will be good employees and bad ones. Don't pick one incident that happened to you and based on that one incident paint all TSA employees as being the same.

3. Were you happier with the pre-TSA $7 an hour security we had? I know I wasn't.

I have personally never had any problems with the TSA and I fly every week. Some TSA employees are friendlier but that's about it. I follow the rules, don't try to be a jackass and all works well. If you are a jerk, are beligerent, have a me vs them attitude to start with, you will cause trouble.

So in short, chill out, take your shoes off, take your belt off, go through the machine and get on with your life.
