RewardOne Changes
I received a letter today (dated May 2), announcing changes to the RewaordOne program effective as of April, 2000.
Essentially, they've raised most (but not all) of the reward levels, and they're now offering 2 points/$1000 for flights that are not to or from EWR, CLE and IAH. (I have no idea how that affects connections through those cities. The letter simply refers to "flights.")
In addition, points now expire three years after they are earned, and points currently in accounts will expire in December, 2003.
Even though my company is registered, this really doesn't affect me much, since I usually fly in Q or T, and I often fly codeshares, and all of this makes most of my flights ineligible for RewardOne credit.
Nevetheless, this previously weak program has just become even weaker.
