Is this connection too tight?

Hello,

I am considering booking the following flight on march 18th, but was wondering if the connection in AMS was too tight:

EDI-CDG via AMS departing at 3.15 arriving at 8.10 PM.

There is a one hour connection in AMS.

additionally, I've never to AMS so I might need an extra time to find my way around.
