I am very good about keeping up with all of the miles I travel but am fairly lax on keeping up with the bonus miles. I reviewed my account and found that I was only credited one Smart Card Bonus for the entire year of 1998. That is a total of 12,500 miles missing from my account. I also noticed that I was not receiving any E-Machine bonuses. That is another 25,000 miles.

This concerned me so I pulled out all of my travel records and found 4000 bonus miles missing from Hertz, 2000 bonus miles missing from Avis.

Continental was very nice and helpful. They are reviewing the Smart Card and E-Machine problem and will advise in 2 weeks.

Hertz and Avis were also very helpful. I had to fax my receipts but they said they would credit my account within 6 weeks. I will keep an eye on it. My computer is set with a reminder in 6 weeks.
