The Competition Bureau no longer has jurisdiction to deal with the merger. Transport Canada theoretically has the ability to step in, but I think they will be gunshy absent compelling evidence of abuse.

AC/CP will ensure that they meet the minima. There will be service everywhere, and there will be discount inventory on every flight--but not as much as there used to be.
