I am seeing this on several of my Thailand stays (HP Sukhumvit 1, Andaz Bangkok) - but not all - Standard Bangkok kept its numeric confirmation and showed the room number and upgraded room type.
Yeah, I’ve noticed more of my reservations slowly transitioning from the old all number confirmation to the one with a number + letter combination prefixed over the past few weeks. I assume this is maybe the switch of the internal reservations system to Sabre and each hotel’s transitioning on their own timeline.
I just had a stay transition mid stay and I lost the ability to see my folio afterwards. And my current stay that transitioned before I checked in also doesn’t show the room number, folio, or anything.
