Well, some of us were forced into converting to MasterCard by Citibank.


There is also the matter of Visa receiving wider acceptance, in terms of merchants worldwide, than MasterCard. Though I will not argue either for or against this point-of-view.

It all boils down to benefits and what you get from Visa versus MasterCard. There are folks on this board who might find the information useful. And for those of us who have preferences, and who would like our AAdvantage Visa cards back, this represents a nice "unadvertised" opportunity.
