To update:
  1. Dubai Experience Accommodation refund hit my Amex on 11 April, i.e. one day later. Questioned the "activity" refund and been told its third party and not refundable. Will suck it up.
  2. Got e-mail earlier today (8 days since the form) that the full refund of both tickets (my own and wife's) has been processed in full without any fees. Money yet to hit my Amex.
EDIT: Money hit my Amex 24 hours later.
