Delta and LATAM Airlines don’t always sync instantly especially on partner itineraries. The LATAM PNR (record locator) can take a few hours (sometimes up to 24h)
Two things you should do:
- Wait a few hours and try again directly on LATAM (not via Delta redirect)
- Make sure you have the LATAM-specific confirmation code (different from Delta’s)
If it’s still failing after ~24h, then contact LATAM—could be a ticketing or sync issue, but unlikely.
Perhaps you missed my second post. I *was* able to pick seats using the Delta confirmation code. It just took 48 hours to get there, which wasn't really a problem.
