What to do if your flight is affected
If you booked for travel between 28 February until and including
15 April 2026, you have the following options depending on your circumstances.
I have a colleague with a flight departing on 15th April, so now within the waiver period, from Dusseldorf to Osaka via Dubai.
Emirates do not appear to be operating the DXB-KIX leg of the journey (shows as cancelled throughout the last period).
Has anyone had success getting re-routed on a different airline in this instance? The language in the waiver appears to be fairly doggedly 'rebook on Emirates at a later date'.
Edit: they re-routed without much quibble. They noted that because the flight was from Germany, they had to rebook on a German airline which is a novel addition.
