I'm a new arrival to NW (defecting from AA), so pardon my ignorance. I have two upcoming flights on the 319. While keeping my fingers crossed for the space-available complimentary upgrade, I'm torn between the exit row aisle (9D) and the bulkhead aisle (5D). I'm mainly looking for extra legroom. Does the bulkhead really provide equal or better legroom?
