It's strange they still offer 0 flexibility to move upcoming flights until it's officially cancelled.
I think they are afraid that people will switch to another airline and not return to them later. Especially as so few people probably realized how close Dubai is to Iran and how unstable that whole area will probably be for the next few years. Everyone just got a quick geography lesson.
