Premium Economy is one of UA’s best-selling products because it fits into a nice value niche. As a family of 5, you’d be occupying a significant fraction of the cabin. It’s not impossible, but you’ll probably be hoping for a lot of empty seats in business class, allowing paid PE passengers with upgrade certificates applied to clear and give you space.
