Had the 2008 DP Rose about a week ago from JFK — amazing stuff. Even better than the advertised 2009.
2005 Leoville Poyferre was also enjoyable, although not as much as the Mouton/Angelus/Montrose from the past year.
No DP Rose on EK236 ORD-DXB today. FA said she hasn’t seen it since the late summer (which is when I remember it last being on offer)
Wonder if it’s select routes only right now? I’ll report back when I’m flying home to JFK next week.
Side note, anyone flying out of ORD, get there as late as possible. The LOT lounge is awfully crowded. I took a 1hr walk around the terminal before boarding because it wasn’t worth sitting in a super crowded space.
