if a bag is missing/damaged/ etc... never leave the airport without a report , regardless of whatever people tell you , cause once you go landside people will not care anymore

I flew through AMS on 30 Dec, my original itinerary booked with Delta was TLV>AMS>SEA, in AMS I was rebooked to fly though Edmonton to Seattle (AMS>YEG>SEA) with the last leg of flight operated by Alaska Airlines. At YEG a KLM rep said the bag didn’t make the flight and they’ll send it after I file a claim..

The rules are simple = the last airline on the journey is responsible for the delivery of the bag , now its true that AMS needs to make the bag move , but its not your duty , its alaskan one
Otherwise if the interlining wasnt possible the tag wouldnt have been edited and KL would have booked you through another airline
