Yes, I know this very well having contributed to the above threads. What I want to know is to what brand the Movenpick Aswan is moving: clearly, Mandarin Oriental would not be entirely appropriate.
I have an 8-night booking in the Old Cataract in early June in a 62-square metre room in the Nile wing. Given that the building will be closed for renovation on May 1st, it will be interesting to see what alternative will be offered by the hotel.
