On the $5,000+ fare issue. I see this now. What seems to have happened now is there are actually no fares published any more that are linked to Latitude. This is no good. The only fare that is mapped to Latitude is the full max IATA Y77 fare which is a hypothetical fare that exists on every single one-way leg for most routes and airlines. It is almost never purchased but it is available to be used and combined in itineraries as needed if nothing else is there that works. The Y fares published by AC are now considered comfort family. If we now find that we are in a place where there are actually no Lat fares published ex-europe- this is a problem. Lufthansa handles the fare setup ex-Europe - so it could be a mistake. To have no Lat fares published cannot be the intention. Even ex-canada now the B-Fares have a comfort and Lat fare family that are priced "reasonably" different and are fair. In fact the new B-Fares which are comfort are cheaper than the old BFFE fare which was latitude. So - my thought is this is a mistake and it needs to be fixed - as to have no Lat fares published cannot be the goal here.
