Definitely a step backwards if MH starts enforcing this for passengers… maybe they’ll claim it’s only for customers purchasing access, but I can foresee a future where — especially without this clarity written into the rule — an overzealous lounge manager decides to start forcing it onto J / elite passengers as well.
As I said before, MH introducing such rules will just going to annoy their customers who spend significant money…
It's a lounge and not a hotel. If people want to sleep overnight then there are hotels around. Some exceptions to the policy may occur but the intent is to stop it.
The policy was put together after people made a not of noise complaining that they were not allowed in until after midnight or looking to use it for an ultra long stay.
The 3 hour rule isnt strictly enforced but they have tightened up on the overnight policy as per discussions with them.
