Every rumor & every finding about future openings of the great luxury resort brands founded by legendary hotelier Adrian Zecha.
The first follow-up of this threadstarter is about upcoming AMAN resorts: the brand, under which Zecha invented the highly personalized luxury resort concept 30 years ago. Since 2015, it is owned and managed by russian real estate billionaire Vladislav Doronin, changing the concept from pureness to lifestyle, from amazing rural locations to expensive city-realestate.
The second part is about Amans somehow party-themed brand JANU, which Doronin started in the early 20s, with only one hotel opened right now. And also another upcoming "budget"-brand, which is called ATMA.
The thrid part is about Zechas own brands, which are actually AZERAI for "affordable luxury", his new Japanese collaboration AZUMI, his chinese venture DAYA hotels, were he collaborates as a brand consultant, and other projects.
The fourth part is about GHM Hotels, now rebranded as Chedi. Once founded by Zecha as well, but since 2019 he and longtime partner Hans Jenni are out - and about AHN LUH, which was supposed to be a chinese luxury chain partnering with GHM and originally advised by Zecha.
