A point to add from someone who has been through this over 15 times.
Whenever you get rebooked, especially on a connection other than the one the system initially rebooked you on, your bag tags need to be manually updated in the system. It has never happened to me automatically. I always go to the lounge or other ground staff and have them update the tags in the system.
As Plat, your expenses should be reimbursed within no more than a week. If bag hasn‘t arrived yet, buy yourself something nice that can be a necessity. Let them feel the pain.
