My favorite is Emeril's NOLA resturant. I've always said its the best resturant i've ever eaten at. Check out their roasted garlic soup. its out of this world.

just follow the river to the hard rock cafe then take a turn down the street away from the river (n peters i think?) then its two blocks up on the left.
