Yes, and my experience with FHR on that is the properties tend to be all over the map. Some are very restrictive, such as $100 only for their spa. Others simply credit $100 to the bill. Lots of in-between possibilities. Be sure to check with the front desk before raiding the minibar. Sometime that can go toward the credit; sometimes not.
