I've stayed here probably a dozen times over the past few years. It's relatively near my company's office; there are closer hotels but (1) this one is more convenient to a tube stop, (2) rate is usually lower, (3) Bonvoy, and (4) good sized, well-appointed rooms (I stayed at the Mondrian once, now Virgin, and the work desk setup was awful). I like that it's in a "local" area, not quite full-on hipster as further south/east in the heart of Shoreditch, but there are still a reasonable selection of casual restaurants nearby. I usually decline a junior suite upgrade, as it's just a slightly larger room with a small sofa, and I think they all have bathtubs -- I hate climbing over them, hate the half-glass wall that results in water all over the floor and doesn't keep the heat in. Although I had a regular room recently with a tub, so now I always ask to make sure I get a regular shower. I'm usually offered an upgrade from the Queen to the King room, although when I'm solo I don't mind the queen at all. Platinum breakfast is nice, pretty broad selection on the buffet, and a handful of choices to order from the kitchen. Pool/spa facility is pretty nice but I almost never have the opportunity to use it.
