I'd expect in 2026 a lot of ye ol' plain Hilton hotels to rename their executive lounges to "frou frou sounding name premium club" as to fob off diamonds but to still entice DR ad fundum per t&c. Or those Waldorf Astoria & Signia operating the current premium lounges might reduce the quality & quantity of their current offerings à luctor et emergo if their lounges turn from profit center to cost center and liability....
Interesting times ahead!

Is there any FT:Member of Hilton diamond reserve pedigree to open a future thread in the spirit : " Premium lounges at Hilton Group worldwide, post your experiences ". One can even add on : "Premium lounges at Hilton Group worldwide, worthwhile? Shame or name the champagne/fizzy plonk insitu!"
