Do you have check-in bags? If not, the 8:25am on 5J would be doable as you don't have to wait to claim bags and you get to skip the 5J check-in counter (do OLCI), otherwise it will be very tight. The departure level of terminal is quite busy during early mornings.

I ended up doing the 5J 9:50am flight to be safe.
Ofcourse my inbound flight ended up being an hour early and it only took me 40min to get through immigration/security. That includes pausing before going through immigration wondering if I could goto an intl side lounge, then going to the 5J kiosk to get a paper boarding pass. I did check the cost to switch the earlier flight but they wanted something like $100 to switch.
