It's quite possible that the devices from 3-4 years ago were not as well engineered (Hinge Design) or the screen material may not have been as robust as the current technology. Just speculation of course. I tend to chase the latest, greatest phone hot bot, as it seems to be a hobby of sorts. I upgrade my iPhone every year and am now rockin' the 17 Pro Max. For years I have traveled with an iPad Mini and still have a 5 & a 6 with cellular, but the Oppo should retire those based on my latest trips.

I keep telling my grandkids I don't want to be the richest guy in the graveyard.
