I’m planning my first RTW trip as a DONEx. I’ve read the big RTW threads and Wikis here in the OW forum, and other posts in the AA forum. I’m hoping to book this sometime in the next week or so, and I have some questions.
AA will only plate as a 001 ticket (AA). You can ask them to ticket as your exact route. If they can see D fare is another unknown issue. POS and married segments can come into play. Until you ask you do not know the answer. Book with the AA RTW desk.
SEZ is in Africa so that is adding a continent for 1 destination
GRU is in South America so that is adding a continent for 1 destination
DONE6 by my count which pushes up the base price, for the same 16 segments
