Yeah, given an unused AS credit and this F term mess, my next SFO departure is on AS, but returning UA. Generally don't travel in December but need to book January trips soon -- will use AS/AA out of STS for LA but the other is Asian international which will fortunately be out of G.
Beware that I’ve seen some international wide body departures out of non G gates. Hopefully they were one off and won’t become routine going forward.
