Not directly AC-related, but I was in Gander last week, and they've maintained the international lounge that was used by celebrities and others when the airport was a refueling stop for transatlantic flights in the 50s and 60s. There's also a small museum with displays of the history of the airport, including it's role post-911.

Well worth a visit.
