I remember seeing a few posts some time ago about JFK T1 security being very strict re number of carry ons, hence AF is unable to offer the usual 2 carry ons+personal item for LP pax ex JFK.
Flying out of JFK in LP later in the week. Will have my roller carry on suitcase, a duffle bag as my personal item, and a thin briefcase. Will this be ok? Or will I have to shove my briefcase into my duffle bag (probably doable but not preferred)?
This. They are absolutely strict about it. You will likely get an email like
this one a day or two before your flight.
