Hi!
I thought I would use my first posting on FlyerTalk to ask for some tips from all you experts out there
I am leaving CPH around 8am on friday (CET) going to STO and then to O'hare. The transatlantic part is with SAS. From Chicago I am going on with United to LAS.
Home: I leave LAS on Sunday morning to Chicago by United and then to STO with SAS ready for work on Monday morning.
Now, I would of course like to fly as comfortable as possible (I've already ordered my PP-card so that is taken care of).
I'll be flying coach all the way but would really like to be upgraded (as much as possible). Any tips? I've already read any word ever written on this board about upgrades.
Also: I have 3 SAS Upgrade vouchers. However, 4 are required to be upgraded one-way in a transatlantic fligt. Would it be best if I gave them my 3 certificates and hope they will upgrade me anyway - or should I dress in a suit and wear a tie and hope they will upgrade me due to my pleasent person
I've never been upgraded before, so I don't have any experience.
Also: I got a rather late fligt from Chicago to LAS. My agent said there was one fligt earlier but that all the seats she could book already were booked - could I maybe go to the united desk in Chicago and be put on waitlist for the earlier fligt?
Hope that all of you will share with your brilliant experience.
Thanks.
