A bit of a shame regarding the Hilo property, as there aren't many hotels you can stay at on points on that side of the island -- and that properties room rates seem to almost always be below $200. If you did want to visit Hilo for a few days, you might still be able to get a Vacasa for 15,000/night. You'd likely need multiple nights to get under the $250 cap due to high cleaning fees.
