Unfortunately it seems pineapples just don't do well in the Inland Empire of Southern California with the low humidity and high heat. Worse, I stopped at the Kona Costco last week to pick up some pineapples to bring home, only to discover they were sold out and the deliveries they get are now a fraction of what they once received, down to about a single pallet a few times a week.
