I very much believe that biometrics and facial recognition are allowed in airports....but the official word is that you cannot use technology to actively identify and track via cameras in public airports (or subway stations, train stations, on the street, in stores, etc.) .
If they are in fact using China type surveillance in airports....why this dog and pony show of the "illusion" of opting into the touchless program....when we are all already enrolled...so why not just allow all of us to be at security with just a checkmark from our big brother overlords and save us all the time and hassle of giving our ID to TSA officers for the illusion of privacy.
