OT but I have the feeling that there are a lot less Ryanair routes than previously. And given that no-one ever writes a single positive thing about Ryanair (not talking about FT here) I just wonder if the public in general is finally getting a bit fed up with this penny pinching ultra low cost travel concept. I just wonder, because I see that Spirit (NK) in the US is getting into difficulty.
if you purchase a seat then checkin opens 60 days before departure.
online checkin closes 2 hours before departure.
if you're paying for airport checkin - it closes 40 mins before departure.
Ryanair seems to still be very profitable, and growing!
