I installed Foobar2000 and within just a couple of taps I was stuck on a page with no way out...even if I Quit the app and re-started it...so I've Uninstalled it. (I told the app that I already had music on my phone, but did not ask Foobar2000 to scan it before continuing to the next page...which became the page with no way out.)
Are there other suggestions for a music app with compander capabilities?
On your phone, turn off the setting that allows external devices to automatically start playing music, or similar setting. That’s not a Foobar problem. That’s a settings problem. It’s definitely an audiophile app with a fairly steep learning curve. If the files to be played are not fairly high-res (FLAC or better) a simpler app might be more appropriate. VLC is a fairly good option I would think..jetAudio also seems to get high marks from android users.
